Soft Healing Routines

“Roots to Silk” Hair Care Ritual

An intentional “scalp-to-strand” ritual featuring the Aguda Raízes and Maracujá Silk Press hair oils. Beginning at the roots and finishing with silky, radiant lengths, this diaspora-inspired duo nourishes the foundation of healthy hair while enhancing softness, shine, and beauty.

Together, they create a balanced routine that starts at the root and ends with a silky, radiant finished look fit for your beautiful crown.

How To Use:

Ritual flow: Washing → Aguda Raízes → Styling → Maracujá Silk Press

After washing your hair, begin with the Aguda Raízes oil by applying a few drops directly to the scalp and massaging it in to nourish the roots and support overall scalp health.

After styling your hair, whether it be fresh new braids, loc retwist or a flat-ironing, finish it with the Maracujá Silk Press oil by smoothing a small amount through the lengths and ends to soften frizz, enhance shine, and create a polished finish.

“Wake ‘n’ Hydrate” Morning Ritual

Every morning doesn’t need an elaborate routine and only a few intentional moments of gentle care can set the tone for the rest of your day. This simple yet meaningful morning ritual is designed to gently awaken, hydrate, and nourish your skin before the day begins. Thoughtfully layered to leave your complexion feeling refreshed, soft, and protected, it’s an invitation to start each day with intention.

How To Use:

Ritual flow: Cleanser → Toner → Moisturizer (optional) → Tranquìtura → Sunscreen

Gently wash your face using a cleanser and then apply a toner to lightly hydrate the skin and prepare it for the next step.

Next, warm a small amount of Tranquìtura between your fingertips and gently press onto slightly damp skin to help lock in moisture, leaving it feeling soft, nourished, and naturally radiant.

Optional: For extra hydration if your skin feels particularly dry, apply your favorite moisturizer first before adding Tranquìtura to lock in the moisture for lasting comfort.

Finally, finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen to help protect your skin throughout the day.

“Ódàárọ̀, Belinha” Bedtime Ritual

Meaning: “Goodnight, Little Bel”

This gentle bedtime routine is one of my absolute favorites because it a traditional routine that I personally use for my daughter when getting ready for bed. Featuring most of the oils from the Belinha Collection, this simple full-body routine is best described as a tender farewell to the day and a loving invitation to rest until morning. Created purely out of love, this sweet ritual helps kids to wind down from a fun-filled day and quietly settle into peaceful rest. From their little faces down to their skin, hair, and lips, each step offers a soothing moment of nourishing care, connection and gentle bonding with your little ones before bedtime.

The phrase Ódàárọ̀ is a common Yoruba greeting meaning “good night” or literally “until morning”.

How To Use:

Ritual flow: Koko Leite → Belinha Oliva → Pedrinha → Nua Beijos (optional)

After bathing and gently drying the face, apply a small amount of Koko Leite as a finishing leave-on moisturizer and massage it gently into the slightly damped skin. Next, apply a small amount of Belinha Oliva and gently massage it into the scalp for a soothing effect that makes falling asleep for your child so effortlessly.

Then apply a small amount of Pedrinha to the body, specifically to dry-feeling areas such as hands, elbows, knees, or feet. This is used for some extra moisture to the skin, especially during colder/drier weather. This would give your child that protective-like feeling on their gentle skin, both physically as well as emotionally.

For warmer/humid weather, apply and gently massage Belinha Oliva into slightly damp skin after a bath. As an option, the Pedrinha body butter can also be used over the Belinha Oliva body oil when extra richness for the skin is desired.

Optional: Lastly, finish the bedtime ritual using the Nua Beijos lip oil for a final soft, skin-nourishing moment sealed with the sweetest goodnight kiss from your little one.
